How Are U.S. Beef Exports Despite Tariffs and Trade Tensions?

U.S. Farmers are seeing some movement when it comes to soybeans this week but what about U.S. beef exports?

The U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) hasn’t released its November numbers past October due to the government shutdown. However, USMEF tells AgDay it may release its November numbers this week. If they’re anything like October’s numbers, then they could be record-shattering.

AgDay national reporter Betsy Jibben talks with Dan Halstrom, President and CEO of the U.S. Meat Export Federation; Kevin Good, an analyst with CattleFax; Kevin Kester, the President of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA); Colin Woodall, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs with NCBA; Don Close, Senior Analyst at Rabo AgriFinance; Sonny Perdue, the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture (USDA) and Fred Wacker, member of the Montana Stockgrowers Association.
