What Will You Feed Cows this Winter?
Cattlemen in the Great Plains and Midwest have been continually pressured by drought, forcing some producers to be short on forage this year.
In a new Drovers.com poll, we want to know how you plan to feed cows this winter. Do you have enough hay on hand? Do you have extra options, such as grazing corn stalks or another field residue? Maybe you’ve developed a supplemental ration with distillers’ grains, or redesigned your grazing schedule to stockpile forage.
