The national beef checkoff, through its Northeast Beef Promotion Initiative (NEBPI) and in partnership with theSouth Dakota Beef Industry Council (SDBIC), encourages the public to test their Beef I.Q. through the “I Love Beef Trivia” Challenge for the chance to win tickets to the 23rd annual Safeway National Capital Barbecue Battle in Washington, DC, on June 27-28.

The online “I LOVE BEEF TRIVIA” challenge runs through 9 pm ET, Saturday, June 20, 2015.

Each week during the month-long challenge, participants will be asked two beef-related questions, ranging from nutritional value to cooking methods to various cuts of meat. Each correct answer earns the eligible player an entry into a drawing for a pair of tickets to the 2015 Safeway Barbecue Battle plus some beef checkoff swag. A new survey will be posted each Monday morning at 9am (ET). Participants have through the following Saturday night at 9pm (ET) to answer that week’s survey to be entered into the drawing for that week. Two separate winners will be chosen at random each week.

Entries for the “I LOVE BEEF TRIVIA” Challenge must be submitted online via the NEBPI website each week during the challenge period of May 25 – June 20; limit one survey per email address per week. The sweepstakes is open to individuals 21 years or older living in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Click here for full details and official rules.
