$5,000 Reward Offered for 30 Cattle Stolen in Kansas
A reward of $5,000 is being offered for help in finding 30 head of cattle that are believed to have been stolen from a farm in southeast Kansas.
The Crawford County Sheriff's Department is seeking information in relation to the theft of 30 cattle from Wood Farm.
It is alleged that the cattle were stolen on Sept. 21 in the evening or Sept. 22 in the morning. Authorities were called to the scene on Sept. 22 after the owner did not find the cattle in the morning.
The 30 calves were missing from a pasture near Pittsburg. The group was a mix of steers and heifers, being predominately solid black or black whitefaces with a single red steer. The cattle have a yellow numbered tag in the left ear and a purple fly tag in the right ear.
Local authorities are asking that anyone with information about the theft to call 620-724-8274, or a tip can be submitted online at crsoks.org.
Information that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) and the return of or restitution for the cattle could result in a $5,000 reward.
