Cattle-Exchange.com, a new website connecting cattle buyers and sellers launched by Beef Today magazine, allows sellers to input free listings, or pay and post enhanced listings.

"We’ve been working more than a year to produce this new website with the sophisticated navigation options that allow cattle buyers and sellers to come together easier than ever before," said Bill Newham, VP/Livestock Group Publisher for Farm Journal Media. "There’s nothing like this on the Internet that combines this number of listings with the ease of use."

Cattle-Exchange.com allows cattle buyers and sellers to link up through an easy-to-navigate site that includes custom search options like breed choices and precise geography.

According to Newham, over the past two years, 65 percent of those purchasing breeding cattle used the Internet to locate or research their purchase. That’s why there’s a need for cattle buyers and sellers to be online. Sellers need to be there simply because that is where buyers are going today.

Cattle-Exchange.com has a national footprint and provides simple custom searches and a high volume of listings, with extensive detail and in an easy-to-use format. Even the free listings can include pictures.

Other benefits:

  • Ability to sell cattle right from the ranch
  • Reduced stress on the cattle
  • Reduced freight and commission costs
  • Increased visibilitly among potential buyers
