Sunday’s NWS 6-10 Day: Cool and Wet Across Bulk of Corn Belt

Forecast raises concerns about planting delays.

The National Weather Service forecast for June 8 through 12 calls for below-normal temps and above-normal precip across the bulk of the Corn Belt. The forecast raises concerns about remaining corn planting, as soils across the central Corn Belt need several more days of dry-down before producers want to return to the fields.
