NWS 6-10 Day: Warmth to Return to Western Corn Belt

Normal precip expected across most of the Corn Belt.

The National Weather Service forecast for May 13-17 calls for above-normal temps across the western Corn Belt, with normal to below-normal temps expected across the eastern Belt. Meanwhile, normal precip is expected across most of the Corn Belt, with the exception being below-normal precip across southern areas of the eastern Belt. The forecast points to improved planting conditions.
