State Fair

As school starts earlier and state fairs hold their late-summer slots, farm kids across America face an impossible choice: Show livestock and honor family legacy or show up for practice and keep their spot on the team.

I’m on day 1,247 of the state fair or so it feels today. I’m not sure what day of the week it is or what’s happening in the next hour.
