TCFA and Cattle Industry Leader Passes Away

Richard McDonald, long-time Texas Cattle Feeders Association and industry leader, passed away today in Amarillo at the age of 66.

Richard spent 32 years with TCFA, initially joining the Association as executive director in 1974 before being appointed as CEO in 1988. He retired from TCFA in 2006 after a distinguished career of service to the cattle industry.

Memorial services are scheduled at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov.1 in Amarillo. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Amarillo.
