Jill Biden ‘Trucks A Vegan’

Dairy seems to be the target of choice for vegans these days. Some misdirected souls calling themselves Direct Action Everywhere have been active at Democratic rallies in California lately, rushing the stage holding signs that read “Let Dairy Die.”

Over the weekend, protesters were removed from Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s event in Los Angeles, and two female protesters appeared topless at Bernie Sanders’ event in Carson City, NV, where they took the microphone urging Sanders to stop propping up the dairy industry before pouring milk on themselves.

But the protest gaining the most media traction was in Los Angeles during Joe Biden’s victory speech after what many are calling his “stunning” Super Tuesday. Two female protesters jumped on the stage shouting “Let Dairy Die,” but Jill Biden was having none of it.

She grabbed the protester’s arm and helped wrestle her from the stage. Freelance photographer Patrick T. Fallon captured the moment and Tweeted it out saying, “This is probably going to be my most tweeted photo of 2020.” Fallon was on assignment for Bloomberg News.

On Wednesday, #JillBiden was trending on Twitter, most with praise for her quick action and others with humorous comments, like, “@Dr.Biden was never picked last for kickball.”

As for the self-appointed milk police who want you to give up dairy products, they’re licking their wounds today and re-examining their visual aides after Twitter mocked them for not knowing the difference between a dairy calf and a beef calf. The sign they carried on stage showed the obvious image of a beef calf, likely Angus, and Twitter made note.
