Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Bart Perrier, Dist. 4 in Oklahoma, reports the theft of 4 cows from a property near Ratliff City in Carter County and 11 calves from a pasture near Stroud in Okfuskee County.
Sometime between Jan. 12 and Jan. 14 a thief or thieves made a makeshift cattle chute to load 4 cows from a pasture near Ratliff City in Carter County, Okla. Missing is a black white-face cow with a M brand on the left hip; a black motley-faced cow with an M brand on the left hip; a black cow with a triangle brand on the left hip; and 1 solid black cow with no brands or marks. All the cows had red ear tags bearing numbers below 25.
Also missing from a property near Stroud in Okfuskee County sometime between Dec. 15 and Jan. 8 are 11 head of full-blood black Angus calves weighing approximately 450 to 500 pounds, each. All the calves have a brand that is a diamond with a P inside it on the left hip.
