Authorities are trying to find who killed a cow in a Guthrie County, Iowa pasture and cut it in half.
Keith Partlow called deputies to his farm near Menlo on Christmas Day. Deputies found that the cow had been shot, beheaded and then cut in half.
The front half was left in the pasture. Partlow says a vehicle likely dragged the rear half of the carcass up a road to where it was dressed out.
No arrests have been reported.
