Many dairy and livestock producers “practice” managed grazing. The reason they practice is no two years are exactly the same conditions. Managed grazing is learning about the whole system and when and how to adjust your management.
The spring grazing workshop at Dodgeville, Wis., will provide ideas dairy and livestock producers can incorporate onto their operators that may improve the grass management and their ability to more effectively graze and lower their feed cost.
