The dairy industry has been dealing with imitation milk for years. Now cattle producers are seeing meat alternatives starting to crowd their space. From vegetarian burgers to new technology allowing for cell cultured meat, the fake meat industry is ramping up quickly. Leaders from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association say they’re already working diligently to make sure beef isn’t shoved out of the meat case.

AgDay’s Clinton Griffiths spoke to Jerry Bohn at this year’s 2019 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show. Bohn is the policy division chairman for NCBA. You can hear what he had to say below.
