Cattle markets are continuing to stay interesting, and producers might have found some footing.

Chip Nellinger, co-owner of Blue Reef Agri-Marketing, says after there was a challenge in the 100-day moving average, it held producers in their tracks.

“I like that where we come down, challenge support, we’re bouncing off that—combine that in the last half of July,” he said. “Typically, you put a bottom in seasonally in the cash market, so it’s lining up that maybe the worst is behind us.”
