F for week ending May 9 as Negotiated Direct Steer prices averaged $226.20/cwt against an estimated breakeven price of $180/cwt. and an estimated average feed cost for the 220 days on feed of $438.

Packers lost an estimated $248/head for those cattle with an average Comprehensive Cutout Value of $342.46/cwt for the week.
