2 Bulls Escape Baltimore Slaughterhouse

Authorities say two bulls escaped a slaughterhouse in west Baltimore.

Police spokeswoman Detective Chakia Fennoy says the bulls escaped from a slaughterhouse on Pennsylvania Avenue early Friday.

Fennoy says the bulls made it a block away, where they hung out and ate grass. No property damage was reported. Fennoy says the local firehouse had cages and police officers used cruisers to block them in.

Police tweeted that the bulls were contained to an apartment complex parking lot, then later tweeted that they were “in custody” with a video of a truck hauling a trailer away.

When a bull escaped a slaughterhouse in the same area in 2014, he made it two miles away to the Mount Vernon area, where police cordoned off several roads before shooting and killing him.
