Beef Today discussion board now open

"Talk Cattle" is a new discussion board on AgWeb.com for cattle producers, and others, to talk about issues impacting the industry as well as share management and marketing information that may be of benefit to other readers. Kim Watson, editor of Beef Today, recently posted this topic:

Is country of origin labeling an issue/potential concern for your cattle business? COOL is set to start the end of September.

Right now, it seems there's little information on what producers need to do to comply. Will it be something that stays the responsibility of the retailers and packers to track and audit? Or will it eventually trickle down to producers?

What are your thoughts?

You can find "Talk Cattle" in the AgWeb discussion boards.
