USDA is investigating a possible data breach related to a broader hack of U.S. government agencies.

Officials in the Ag department say the data breach allegedly involves a contractor and impacts a small number of workers—roughly 30, which is a small pool considering USDA employees 100,000 people.

According to USDA, Russian-speaking hackers are the likely suspects and the department will contact and provide support to anyone affected.
