The American Gelbvieh Association named Loren Fischer, Nevada, MO, as its 2020 Commercial Producer of the Year. Loren and his wife, Marcy, along with their five children, own and operate Fischer Cattle Company.
Wehner developed the first Gelbvieh herd at Truman State University, and his own fullblood Gelbvieh herd. The AGA Hall of Fame recognizes him for lasting contributions to the growth and development of the breed.
