The National Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) Team and Advisory Group Leadership are hosting a virtual producer forum to provide an overview of the BQA program today and where the program is headed in the future. The virtual forum will be held live Thursday, August 6 at 7 p.m. Central Time.

The featured speakers for this Virtual Producer Forum will include Kim Brackett, Chair of the BQA Advisory Group who will provide insight into the new Beef Industry Long Range Plan and the important role BQA plays in the industry’s future. Executive Director of Producer Education, Josh White, and Director of Beef Quality Assurance Programs, Chase DeCoite will cover recent achievements and upcoming initiatives for the BQA program.

“This is a time for producers to get an inside look at the BQA program and all it encompasses, but more importantly it is a time for them to provide their input into the program and have their questions answered,” DeCoite said.  “We look forward to engaging with the producers that make the program a success and learning from them so that we can continue to make BQA a valuable resource for all cattle producers.”
