Gardiner Angus Ranch’s 17th Fall Bull Sale saw a total of 343 Angus bulls sell along with the largest offering of genomically tested, bred commercial females ever to sell at GAR.

Gardiner Angus Ranch’s 17th Fall Bull Sale saw a total of 343 Angus bulls sell along with the largest offering of genomically tested, bred commercial females ever to sell at GAR.

One-hundred-fifty-one 20-month old bulls sold for an average of $7,470 per head, and 19214-month-old bulls averaged $6,039 per head. The 343 bulls grossed $2.287 million.

In addition to the bulls, GAR sold 17 bred registered cows for an average of $4,235, and 407 bred registered heifers at $6,074. The 407 lots of registered bulls and females totaled $2.653 million for an average of $6,520.

GAR also sold 286 bred commercial heifers (30 groups) for an average of $2,264 per head. One-hundred-fifteen bred commercial cows (11 groups) sold for $2,738 per head. One group of commercial females sold as a load lot for $314,900 or $2,738 per head.
