USDA Opening 2 Emergency Programs For NE Producers Dealing With Flood

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is taking matters into its own hands, opening two more emergency programs for producers dealing with flooding in Nebraska.
The Department announcing it will allow emergency grazing of livestock on conservation reserve acres until the end of April.
Also, 45 Nebraska counties have been approved to begin accepting applications for the Emergency Conservation Program to address damages from flooding. That may provide cost-share assistance and possibly restore fences.
