California Police Searching for "Cow Killers" Who Shot Three Cattle

Police in California are still searching for two suspects that allegedly shot and killed three cows in December.

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Ag Crimes Investigators were alerted on Dec. 17, 2018, that cattle were shot and killed east of Exeter along Yokohl Valley Drive. Upon arriving detectives found evidence of three mature cows that had been shot and killed. It appears the cows were shot from the road with a shotgun.

Authorities were able to discover through further investigation that a suspect vehicle was in the area. It is alleged that an early 1990s model Ford Ranger black in color with red interior and with what appears to be a spray painted Ford Emblem on the front grill was at the scene of the crime. There were two people in the vehicle described as Hispanic men and one of the men had a “man bun” haircut.

In a press release sent out on Jan. 8 the sheriff’s office says it is seeking aid in finding the “cow killers.”

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Detective R. Gunderman, or Sgt. B. Rader with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Investigations Unit at (559) 802-9563. They can also call 24 hours a day at (559) 733-6218 or anonymously, by accessing the TipNow page at tcso@tipnow.com.
