Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner, funded by the Beef Checkoff, is partnering with Tony Romo, former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. This partnership will last throughout the summer and tailgating grilling season.

The Kansas Beef Council (KBC) is promoting the campaign on various social media platforms, streaming television, and digital radio. The checkoff-funded campaign will run throughout the summer grilling season and encourages consumers to visit BeefItsWhatsForDinner.com.

The KBC Romo extension is one part of a broader advertising program to positively impact beef demand by positioning beef as the go-to summer protein.

Romo was selected for this partnership due to his nationwide name recognition and ability to connect with audiences across the United States. He is also known for his values of family, authenticity and positivity.

The campaign includes some of Romo’s grilling playbook which includes recipes from cheeseburgers to tri-tip street tacos. There are recipes and cooking guides to help anyone from pro to amateur grillers.

In addition to cooking tips, the campaign also includes Romo sharing industry facts to dispel common misconceptions about the beef industry.
