Gardiner Angus 6th Annual ‘Meating Demand’ Bulls Average $6,193
While demand proved strong for all bulls in Gardiner Angus Ranch’s 6th Annual “Meating Demand” sale, the 14- to 17-month-old bulls drew the highest bids, averaging $7,139 on 61 lots. The 113 lots of 19- to 20-month-old bulls averaged $5,681.

The sale, held Saturday, May 8, 2021, at the ranch near Ashland, KS, saw total of 174 head and one 40 head load lot sell to 93 buyers in one hour and forty-five minutes.
Lot 114, GAR Ashland 210J, claimed high selling bull honors, selling to Gary Stone, Chandler, Oklahoma, for $13,000. Three bulls from the younger offering sold for $11,000 each.
Thirty-six percent of the offering (62 bulls) sold from $4,250 to $5,000, and 38% of the offering (66 bulls) sold from $5,250 to $6,750.
A total of 174 registered Angus bulls sold for $1,077,500 to average $6,193. One load lot of commercial Angus females (40 head) sold for $116,000 to average $2,900 per head.
