Gardiner Angus Ranch 5th Annual “Meating Demand” Bull Sale
Gardiner Angus Ranch’s 5th Annual “Meating Demand” bull sale saw 159 20-month-old bulls ready to turn on summer pastures sell for a total of $798,750, for an average of $5,024.
The average of the offering ranked the bulls in the top 3% of the Angus breed for marbling, $Beef and $Combined; top 20% of the breed for calving ease, bottom 38% of the breed for birth weight and top 10% of the breed for yearling weight. The offering represented 19 different sires, with the majority of the bulls sired by GAR Sure Fire, GAR Method, GAR Ashland and GAR Proactive.
One hundred-eight bred, commercial females sold for $199,400 gross to average $1,846 per head.
The sale was concluded in one hour and forty minutes selling to 76 buyers from 16 states.
