New NCBA Webinar: Winter Supplementation for Your Herd

New NCBA Webinar: Winter Supplementation for Your Herd

In winter, cattlemen and women often use harvested forages or crop residues as the primary diet for their cattle when most grazing forages go dormant. These feedstuffs may not meet the dietary requirements of the animal, however. In this webinar, which is available to view on demand, Dr. Tyron Wickersham of Texas A&M, Dr. Eric Bailey of the University of Missouri and Dr. Mary Drewnoski of the University of Nebraska, will cover the importance of supplementation of the herd when generally lower quality feedstuffs make up a majority of the animals' diet specific to regions across the U.S.
