Another summer of grazing has passed at the Bechtel Ranch.

Last year I shared a few pictures and described how we gather cattle on my family's custom grazing operation each year in the Flint Hills.

This summer we took in steers and spayed heifers. The majority of the cattle came in around April 15 and we had the majority of the cattle shipped by July 15.

Shipping this year took place at three different facilities during a five day period in mid-July. Here is a look at 15 of the better images I snapped while "helping" ship cattle at the ranch:

Last week I visited a few of the feedlots the steers and heifers went to and they are all doing well.

Thanks again to all our friends and family who help make our grazing operation a success.
