Feedlot Crew Members Mark Your Calendars for Cowboy College
Beef Today is proud to be hosting Cowboy College on Sept. 15-16, in Wichita, Kan. The two day meeting will offer an educational opportunity designed specifically for feedlot crews.
From pen riders to the processing team there will be plenty of chances to learn about best management practices and animal welfare.
Nationally recognized veterinarians Tom Noffsinger, Dan Thomson and Mike Apley will offer their expertise in a variety of topics, specifically animal health and handling, which are top of mind for cattlemen.
Last year's Cowboy College drew more than 130 beef producers from 17 states and attendees learned how to remove risk from feeding high-risk cattle.
With feeder cattle prices looking to hover around $200 cwt. for the next year, now is the time to invest in your team’s knowledge.
Early registration remains open until Aug. 17, so get signed up as soon as possible.
