Yamaha Puts Fun Into Functional Models to 2019 Line

Farmers know how helpful it is to have a quality ATV or utility vehicle around the farm, but that doesn't mean you can't have a little fun in them too. For 2019, Yamaha has added two new models to their off-road lineup, the Wolverine X2 Side-by-Side and 2019 Grizzly SE ATV.

Two-Seat Wolverine X2 SxS

Expanding the line from last year’s Wolverine X4, the X2 features a compact, nimble chassis for navigating tight terrain for both fun and functionality.

The work-ready design, has a two-person cab, 600-lb.-rated dump bed with an automotive-style one-hand operated tailgate, and 2,000-lb. towing capacity. Conversations at any RPM range are smooth and vibration-free due to a 847-cc twin cylinder engine and a new ultra-reliable and durable Ultramatic continuously variable transmission (CVT), enhanced to accommodate more than 60 pounds-foot of torque. It also features dependable, driver-controlled On-Command four-wheel drive (4WD) system .

Also new for 2019 is the enhanced YXZ1000R™ / Sport Shift (SS), redesigned to deliver added comfort and confidence for those ultimate high-performance off-road adventures anywhere in the country. Yamaha’s SxS lineup also includes the hardworking Viking and Viking VI utility vehicles with three- and six-seat cabins, 600-pound dump bed, and powerful 1,500-pound towing capacity.

Bigger 2019 Grizzly SE ATV

The 2019 Special Edition Grizzly ATV features an exclusive 27” Maxxis Zilla tires and Yamaha engine for max performance on demanding terrain. The models offer Ultamatic automatic transmission, On-Command 2WD/4WD system and electric power steering.

A smooth, responsive power source helps the Grizzly SE increase mid-range acceleration with a new 6% gear reduction. In addition, the SE Grizzly features painted bodywork. Producing less noise and vibration, the Grizzly still delivers a sportier riding experience.

The SE Grizzly features a new aggressive look with painted bodywork, a redesigned meter, pre-installed 2” tow receiver. New 14-inch two-tone cast aluminum wheels, and Yamaha-exclusive 27-inch Maxxis 'Zilla tires that provide increased ground clearance and a wider track width.

The Grizzly SE is available in Ridge Red, Alpine White, SE Backcountry Blue and Realtree Edge camo, starting at $9,899.

Yamaha’s more utility-based ATVs include the Kodiak 700 and Kodiak 450, while Yamaha’s sport ATV lineup again features the Raptor 700R, and YFZ450R, along with respective youth models, the Raptor 90 and YFZ50.
