Police Investigating More Than 40 Cattle Missing from Kansas Ranch

Police in Harper County, Kansas are searching for 42 cattle that have either been lost or stolen from a ranch.

Law enforcement officials are currently looking for 42 head of cattle that were stolen or lost in Harper County, Kansas.

The Harper County Sheriff’s Office shared on the department’s Facebook page that several cattle were missing from a ranch in the county.

A description of the cattle shows the following types of animals are missing:

  • 35 head of 500 lb. red calves and black calves
  • Six head of 1200 lb. red cows and black cows
  • One black bull weighing 2000 lb.

The cattle have an “EZ” brand on the right hip and blue ear tags with the name “Ethan Zimmerman” on them.

The Harper County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t ruled if the cattle are simply missing or have been stolen. However, the sheriff’s office is seeking information related to the case and is asking anyone with information to call 620-842-5135.
