Claire Daines stars in the HBO Films production Temple Grandin, based on the well-known Colorado State University animal scientist and behavior specialist. The film chronicles Grandin’s life from her beginnings as a troubled child diagnosed with Autism, through her growth and development with the enduring support of her mother, and finally to her transition into a high-functioning and highly esteemed leader in animal agriculture. The film’s script is largely based on the books Emergence by Grandin and Margaret Scariano, and Thinking in Pictures by Grandin.

Drovers has worked with Temple Grandin on a wide range of articles relating to animal handling, facilities and animal welfare. A full list of these resources is available on our website.
